The Earth has the most potent medicines. And they work in balance, rather than brute force like pharmaceuticals. That means herbs offer longer-lasting solutions, even if their potency isn't readily apparent. It is due to the forces of commerce that colored pills have such potency and this is strictly temporary as planetary transitions occur (and better knowledge of holistic health predominates over old-paradigm medicine).

Recipes are often secret, to maintain their power from those who would dilute it with naive experimentation, or until the phenomenology of biology emerges and is completed. Some of that phenomenology is below.

In their raw form, herbs work in the patient's relationship to the Tree of Life (i.e. Earth), so ensure this is sound, otherwise cooked herbs depend on the power of the herbalist. And even in this case, the herbalist`s relationship to the earth can suffer if s/he treats with herbal medicine without the patient`s balance with the Earth.

Some basic anchor points, however:

  • Datura intoxica (Jimson weed or Devil's weed), when prepared by a skilled herbalist can restore perfect health from near death. It exacts a heavy cost on the plant, and s/he should charge a good price for such restoration.
  • Vaccinium genus (various dark berries incl blueberry) berries are medicinal adaptagens
  • Ilex genus (red holly berries) are poisonous, these should transform into cherry trees
  • Curcuma longa (turmeric) when the juice of the rhizome is consumed raw restores the physical conection to the emotional body

Flower symmetry is one of the best aids in understanding the utility of flower essences as the symmetry represents and absolutely is the balance of male and female principles, particularly those from the Adam/Eve storyline. This means that flower petals have enormous possibilities for the herbalist, medically and spiritually. In holistic practice, this is the same, so it means its relevant and potentially valuable for both body ills, mental ills, and spiritual ills (white petalled flowers).

Each color tell us something, regardless of symmetry, and is fairly consistent amongst all flowers, but perhaps not exclusively so (like petunias where color have been almost entirely arbitrary, roses are also bastardization from Christendom on the purity of the Tree of Life). Here it would be good for the herbalist to map out the distinction where the following correlations to not apply (which also tell us something else valuable -- where such flowers may be useful for acute application and therefore, more technical application). Non-symmetrical, outside of dandelion, relate to the (ungendered) nature of God, before Eve, and are better for aromatherapy. It has not been studied the significance of color here. For dandelion, dandelion wine is the perfect use.

There may be an articulation point around the color green rather than setting the colors in a linear spectrum like a rainbow. That is, to enumerate the hot colors (red, yellow, orange) in one group and the cool colors (blue, indigo, and purple) in another. Symmetry is temporarily more important in the former group than the latter. Christendom has corrupted the purity of flower expression, probably related to the Americas and the Natives.

This is all going to be a bit disorganized as it comes from remnants of unity consciousness and is now spun down back into form.

Hots: physical ailments:

  • Red: related to heart ailments Red tulips are exemplary here -- their purity has been damaged from Christendom, otherwise they would be examples of symmetry.
  • Orange: related to mental ailments
  • Yellow: bones reconstruction aids
  • Green: flowers here are aberrations, but the green leaves of such probably have medicinal value.

Cools, where symmetrical use for emotional, otherwise:

  • Blue: dermis/skin
  • Indigo:
  • Purple: unspecified, TBD
  • White: not useful as unguents, related entirely to purity of god. So this, then, is for spiritual ailments, like depression, despair. Daisies for example, by their appearance alone, show the purity of love from the female spanning the 2000 years ago from Jesus. Flower fragrances are very useful and powerful here for subtle effects on the mind and body. Ennui is treated very well here. Try Jasmine.

Knowledge of alchemy may also be a powerful aid. The 4 elements can be combined with each other, pairwise to create a third.

Earth + Water = Mud/ a type of element of its own, neither one nor the other. This power allows the development of clay pots and utility that wasn't available in either alone. Air + Water = Membrane/Gelatin. Earth + Air = Wood/. Fire + Water = Leaves/Steam. Fire + Earth =

The D&D way of looking at herbalism is interesting. Herbs can be classified and understood through the lens of alchemy.

There are four components usable for the herbalist and the cuisinist alike: leaves, flowers, berries, roots.

Ways of use: sight, ingestion, unguents (poultice), tinctures (hot water extractives?), and aroma:

When using the flowers for ingestion, they should be in a raw state and eaten meditatively, unguents are only useful on broken skin, tinctures, only leaves are recommended.
