Ipswich Makerspace houses a range of tools and hardware. We have soldering irons, a laser cutter, and a couple of 3d printers. Additionally we have a small workshop, which has a range of woodworking tools.
Currently open to existing members only.
Successes: Our Tractorbot has won prizes at Pi Wars Cambridge four times now, including first place in 2018. At Pi Wars 2017, our redesigned TractorBot took second place in the Pros/Veterans category. We have since open-sourced this design - details at http://ipswichmakerspace.com/tractorbot-is-open-source/.
We are based at 11 Dove St, Ipswich, IP4 1NG. It is across the street from a truly marvellous pub, the Dove Street Inn, with its dozens of connoisseur beers and ciders.
Informally twinned with Ipswich Makerspace, Queensland, Australia.
