Industrial Commons, Inc. (founded 14 September 2015) is a non-profit Makerspace based out of the Technical Innovation Center (TIC) of Hagerstown Community College in Hagerstown, Maryland.
History[edit]
Industrial Commons was founded by three graduating students of the Frederick Community College STEM Club: Christian Joy Oropeo, Matthew Berman, and Erick Shepherd. The organization incorporated 14 September 2015 and moved into the Technical Innovation Center of Hagerstown Community College that same November.
As of 29 July 2016, Industrial Commons was approved for IRC section 501(c)(3) tax exempt status as a non-profit organization.
