We are a floating (distributed ;) Hackerspace and we create ad-hoc-new ones. We built a semi-autonomous boat prototype (MS0x00) and technology that aides sailing crews. We're also aiming to build mesh networks on huge water surfaces.
Most of our development is online on github and gitlab - our core software system is called "Hackerfleet Operating System (HFOS)".
Hackerfleet was founded in Berlin. Our core hardware development lab (shared, called "RoboLab") is proudly located at C-base, but our explorational, recreational and most important developmental cruises take us to different shores and oceans all over the world. We organize regular Maritime Hackers' Meetups at Camps, Congresses and other events.
To become a member, simplpy subscribe to our maillist and introduce yourself. You can also do this by coming to a Maritime Hackers' Meetup.
If you'd like to tag along and join one of our development or recreational cruises, just subscribe to our sailing-maillist where we'll be announcing events of interest. We have a discussion list, too.
If you want to get in more direct contact, join us on IRC!
